CIDC2006,

also held in Cape Town, attracted more than 60 international and local delegates to
The Information
Society Institute for a three-day discussion of the social
appropriation of information technology, and the way that it
contributes to a participative future information society.
Nine countries were represented, including Australia, Botswana, Canada, Finland, India, South Africa, Spain, Turkey, and the United Kingdom. An image of the conference CD, with copies of all papers presented (and also a printable copy of the academically reviewed papers) can be found here. |
